Reaching into thin air and producing a pair of iron rings, the necromancer brings them together with a sound like distant thunder, and they continue humming with dissonant sound for one hour. One note resonates with the Hun,the other resonates with the P'o, and the combined cacophony is unbearable to the living and the dead alike.
When the necromancer brings the rings together, her player rolls (Wits+Occult+Essence), targeting (Integrity) A faintly rippling shockwave – akin to murky water – expands out to Long Range in all directions. All beings affected by the spell are knocked back one range band from the Necromancer.
Furthermore, those who failed their defense must pay (Overflow) WP to approach the caster. Even if WP is paid, targets that have been struck by the unbearable sound find approaching the necromancer difficult. Those affected take a -1 External penalty at Long Range, -1 at Medium, -2 at Short, and -3 at Melee range to all actions until the end of scene.
